En este simposio coordinado por el Dr. Milko Jorquera y el Dr. Alejandro Murillo presentaron los resultados de su investigaci\u00f3n la Dra. Kyoko Yarimizu, profesora adjunta de la Oficina de Investigaci\u00f3n y Colaboraci\u00f3n Academia-Gobierno-Comunidad en Gen\u00f3mica y Ecolog\u00eda Microbiana, de la Universidad de Hiroshima, la Dra. Shoko Ueki, Profesora asociada en el Instituto de Ciencias y Recursos Vegetales de la Universidad de Okayama y el Dr. Gonzalo Fuenzalida, Investigador Semi-Senior del Centro de Estudios de Algas Nocivas (CREAN), Instituto de Fomento Pesquero (IFOP).
